Do you regularly bang your head against the wall? Tell the truth now!
Leadership has a funny way of teaching us the same lesson over and over until we finally learn it.
Let's be honest, I've made my fair share of mistakes, and I will still be making more in the future.
Examples:
👉Assuming silence meant agreement
👉Thinking I had to have all the answers
👉Relapsing into I can fix everything
👉Believing that being right mattered more than being real
🎯Do I hear you saying..."Yes, I agree, being there done that."
What is true is that with each stumble, though uncomfortable at the time, it became a stepping-stone for growth.
The truth is, the hardest lessons often become the most valuable ones. They shape our humility, strengthen our empathy, and remind us that leadership is as much about learning as it is about leading.
🪞What's one of the most challenging leadership lessons you had to learn the hard way?
